OneGreatChef founder, Chef Maureen Lisi found her calling in food. After years working in food as a job to support her love of the theatre, Chef Lisi was invited to Italy where the libretto she wrote for an opera was to be performed. Italy was transformative for Chef Lisi. It was there she learned that food was her theatre, opera and life's avocation.  Chef Lisi furthered her education upon her return to America, graduating with honors from the California Culinary Academy and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Management from New England Culinary Institute.

Chef Lisi has worked as an executive chef, a private chef, a corporate chef, a chef instructor  with Le Cordon Bleu and Columbus Culinary Institute at Bradford where her areas of specialization included authentic international cuisines,  catering, garde manger and butchery.  Chef Lisi continues to create, cook and teach with her own company OneGreatChef.com working  with the most accomplished like-minded Chefs and Hospitality Professionals.
